Game of Thrones, Season 1
Game of Thrones and Spellfire seems to be a perfect match, like peanut butter and jelly. All throughout the hit television program we see various characters trying to gain control of Westeros. During a game of Spellfire you scramble to build enough Realms to conquer the land. We have blended the world of Game of Thrones with the game play of Spellfire and have come up with the fan made set, Game of Thrones Season 1.
This is the first of our Game of Thrones themed Spellfire sets. It is meant to be a standalone game, although it is compatible with all other Spellfire cards. Traditional Spellfire contains some absolutely ridiculously powerful cards, some of which can make the game less fun to play. So, we aimed to make the cards in Games of Thrones Season 1 more balanced.
To make things fit a bit more easily we had to add a few things;
1. "Worlds" While Spellfire has Worlds like Forgotten Realms and Dark Sun, Game of Thrones has houses like Stark and Lannister. All Game of Thrones houses are treated the same as Spellfire Worlds.
2. “Port” which you will see on several Realms. A Port can be attacked in the same fashion as any Spellfire Realm showing coastline.
3. Some cards now have a "Descriptor" under the cards title (example Eddard Stark, Lord Paramount of the North). The descriptive text, if any, contains thematic information about the card and is NOT an extension of the title. If two cards have the same title but different descriptor your deck may contain one of each but the Rule of the Cosmos still applies when in play because the titles would be the same.
Below is a link to a .jpg file which lists all of the houses currently contained in Game of Thrones, Season 1.
This is a living set, meaning as we play more and more and think something has become unbalanced we will change it (Blue Lines). A message will be posted on this page so you will know that you have the most updated versions of each card. As YOU play if you find something that is unclear, or think should be changed let us know (Contact Us) and we will consider your advice.
Want to help us? Share the set! There is no money in this for us; every card we create will always be available for FREE download. Your participation is what will keep us motivated to create more cards. So, if you like the set, let us know! If you don’t let us know why!
All cards from this set will be legal in all Extensive-Enterprise.net Spellfire events.
