REAL NAME: MacDonald Gargan

Chosen to take part in an experiment that would give him super powers, MacDonald Gargan was put through a battery of chemical and radiation-filled treatments and sealed in a cybernetically controlled armored costume. Emerging as the scaly Scorpion, Gargan tested his newly acquired strength and "scorpion sting" energy blast by attacking the amazing Spider-Man. Since that time, the Scorpion has become increasingly more insane - which makes him an even deadlier for for the Spider-Man or any other hopeful hero that crosses his path!
