When the U.S. Army believed that its missile installations in Arizona were sabotage by the Incredible Hulk, General Thunderbolt Ross enlisted the Fantastic Four to stop the behemoth. During the ensuing battle, the Thing discovered that the Hulk was being framed by the evil mechanical genius, the Wrecker.
