The Origin of Speedball
While working a part-time job at Hammond Research Laboratory, young Robert Baldwin came across a scientist experimenting with unknown energy sources. When the experiment went awry, Baldwin was accidentally bombarded with energy rays. The side effects of the accident now gave Robert Baldwin the ability to bounce off walls and travel at incredible speed while being surrounded by balls of energy and light. Thus, he donned the name, Speedball.
