The Death of Illyana
Illyana Rasputin - better known as the sister of the Russian X-Man Colossus - died at the age of seven, the victim of a lethal mutant virus. Despite the best efforts of geneticists Professor Clarles Xavier and Dr. Moira Mac Taggert, there was nothing that could be done to save the young mutant. Rather than place Illyana into a potentially irreversible coma, it was decided to let her die with honor.
