Wolverine Leaves the X-Men
Following the bone-crushing defeat at the hands of Magneto, Wolverine lost all of the adamantium that his skeleton had been laced with, and his healing factor was greatly weakened. Wolverine discovered he could now cause bony claws to protrude from his hands, but he was nowhere near as powerful as he once was. Worried he'd become a liability to the team, wolverine chose to leave the X-Men.
