Wolverine vs. Lord Shingen
Spurned by his lover Mariko Yashida, Wolverine traveled to Japan to confront her. To his dismay, he discovered that Lord Shingen, Mariko's father and the head of the Clan Yashida, had betrothed Mariko to another! When he tried to intercede on Mariko's behalf, Wolverine was drugged and nearly beaten to death by the crime lord Undaunted, Logan decimated Yashida's criminal operations and defeated his assassins the Hand! Facing one another in a final duel, Logan defeated Shingen, regaining his honor and heralding Mariko's ascent to the head of the Clan Yashida!
