Gen. Schwarzkopf is Chairman of the Allied Forces in the Persian Gulf. His job is to assemble the right mix of armor, artillery and air power. When addressing the troops in the Gulf, he told them "My confidence in you is total, our cause is just. Now you must be the thunder and lightning of Desert Storm."
