USS America (CV-66)
The USS America is a distinctively-designed air-craft carrier with an island set far aft and angled flightdeck served by four steam catapults and four deck-edge lifts. Stationed in the Easters Mediterranean during Operation Desert Storm, the ship has been fitted with a system to protect its shell-holders from ingress by sea -skimming missiles.
