Aegis Control Center
The Aegis control center pictures here is one of the many critical communications centers supporting Operation Desert Storm. Signals are picked up from radar and sonar, and with the help of computers, are quickly interpreted and analyzed. Then, tactical decisions are made and orders transmitted to aircraft, ships and other deployed units.
