As the high-flying Angel, Warren Worthington III used his magnificent feathery wings of flight vilainy as a charter member of the uncanny X-Men, His life changed dramatically, though when the menacing mutant called Apocalypse destroyed his natural wings, replacing them with artificial razor-sharp weapons of death. Defeating his criminal creator, Worthington, now Archangel, rejoined the X-Men's gold team to continue his battle against all evil, while struggling to keep his malevolent new appendages in check!
