Frank Castle, a former Marine watched helplessly as his family was cut down by the gunfire of criminals! At that moment, something inside Frank Castle died, and in its place was born the costumed vigilante called the Punisher. Driven by the memory of that tragic event and armed with the arsenal of a combat veteran, the Punisher wages a one-man war against crime, without pity, mercy or regard for the law - becoming an outlaw himself in the process!
