As the founder of the Mutant Liberation Front, he told his followers that they were fighting to make the world a better place for mutantkind. But the real drive behind Stryfe's call to slaughter is twisted hared and a personal vendetta against his lookalike, Cable, and Cyclops and Jean Grey of the X-Men! all of whom he holds responsible for his unhappy childhood!
