Trained in the circus to be an excellent marksman, teenage runaway Clint Barton decided that he wanted to become a super hero. Donning a colorful costume, equipped with an amazing supply of trick arrows and adopting the name "Hawkeye," he joined the Earth's mightiest super heroes, the Avengers, and quickly proved himself to be a valuable asset to the group! Today, Hawkeye is a mainstay of the Avenger's west coast division, with whom he battles all manner of super-powered menaces!
