Appearing out of nowhere in a burst of brimstone, the blue-skinned mutant called Nightcrawler resembles nohting less than the devil himself! But, in fact, he;s a kind-hearted swashbuckler who uses his agility, prehensile tail, ability to disappear in deep shadow, and power of teleportation to battle villains and prejudice alike. Now, as the leader of the super hero team Excalibur, he's carrying the fight back to his native Europe!

In the beginning...
Nightcrawler was abandoned as an infant and raised by gypsies!
