Hailing from an alternate future where he lived in slavery, Shatterstar traveled back in time to present-day Earth seeking the legendary X-Men - but instead, all he found was trouble, in the form of the New Mutants! Using his fantastic fighting abilities against the mutant group, Shatterstar quickly earned their respect and was asked to join them. Now, he fights all manner of malevolent mutants alongside X-Force, knowing that someday he must return home to free his people from the tyranny of their despot Mojo V!
