Rewards
First and foremost we are going to begin with Rewards. Having a Rewards account with us is one of the best decisions you can make, let me tell you why. Firstly it’s FREE, completely and totally void of monetary cost. You get a few things with your FREE Rewards account, such as:
1. Your account will hold your receipts so if you try to buy the same comic book or graphic novel the system will alert us to ensure you don’t buy the same thing twice.
2. Should you wish to order a comic book / graphic novel you will already have an account to do so.
3. Related you can also download the Comic Hub app for your phone which will give you access to comic book / graphic novel ordering as well.
4. Most importantly as you make purchased on eligible items (basically anything that isn’t clearance or consignment) you accrue points. One dollar equals one point and when you hit one-hundred and fifty points you will get a $5.00 discount coupon which automatically pops up when you make your next purchase.
5. You become the envy of those who lack a Rewards account, because you will receive Rewards and they will not.
Comic Books
I mean, the name of the shop is The Comic Book Shop, so you know we have comic books, right. Like, lots of them, literally thousands, maybe even tens of thousands. I'm sure you get the picture, lots of comic books. We have literally thousands of comic books in our back stock; stuff from the Golden Age all the way up to today. We also have a vast selection of dollar comics but oh so much more: with our dollar comics we have five and ten dollar comics to accompanying our majestic back stock.
I think we have painted a good picture of the volume of comic books you’ll find BUT there’s more. Namely, our weekly comics: you want ‘em, we get ‘em. We get all the DC and Marvel stuff you could hope for along with a prolific bouquet of “Indy” comics. We have a subscription service too, but we’ll get to that in a bit. Alright, moving on. Graphic Novels, Trade Paperbacks and Manga, we’re going to group this all together as GN’s. These are a few of my favorite things. We keep a vast swath of GN’s from all kinds of publishers and in all kinds of genres, in stock and ready for your consumption. Furthermore, we get new offerings each and every week! Finally, we do offer a comic book subscription program. You commit to buying your comics from us and we commit to making sure you get them.
To be considered a subscriber and be able to take advantage of the Subscriber Benefits you must be subscribed to at least two series that are currently putting out new issues. (ie: issue 4 of a four part mini-series comes out, it no longer counts). And, your account must be at least three months old and in good standing (meaning you buy all your comics within two weeks of their release). Why do we ask you pick up your comic books within two weeks? Because we need to recoup the money we put out for your comics to buy more comics and thus continue the comic book cycle of love.

Because you have kept your account in good standing and we appreciate you, we have devised these benefits for your shopping pleasure.
Supplies: We offer 20% off all in stock comic book supplies (bags, boards, dividers, boxes etc…).
Dollar Comics : They’re a dollar right but for our subscribers they are still a dollar but if you buy them in groups of seven, they are only $5.00 for the whole group.
$5 Dollar Comics: You can have seven of these for only $25.00 and finally
Top Shelf Comics: These are the comics behind lock and key, or behind the register, the stuff you have to ask to see. They don’t go on sale, like ever, but as a subscriber in good standing you can have 10% off these bad boys as long as you’re paying cash. No cash, no discount on these, sorry.
Trading Card Games
“I thought you said this was a comic book shop?” It is I promise, we have tons of comics (literally) but in an effort to make sure we can afford healthcare we have diversified our inventory to include Trading Card Games. Now, we carry new sealed product for all the big brands (Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, Lorcana etc…) and a few of the not so big brands. In addition to the glorious sealed product selection we do carry singles for the big three (Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, Locana) as well. Since we already support sealed product and singles it was only natural that we would make use of the Danger Room and run events, so we do (see below).

Before we move on, let's discuss Open Play. If you are willing to respect the space, you are welcome to play any game you want any time you want as long as there is space available for you to use in the Danger Room. Want to play Magic the Gathering on a day we are not running an event? Cool, no problem you're welcome to do so. If we're open and there's space, you can use it.
Video Games
“Wait, what?” Yes, you read that correctly, we have video games now. Remember when you were younger tearing open your new video game system and playing your favorite new game all weekend long? Yea, we do to and that nostalgia is strong at The Comic Book Shop. We deal in retro gaming (if it’s still available in Walmart we don’t go after it. Doesn’t mean we won’t buy it, just don’t go hunting for it.) Our Video Game inventory reaches all the way back to the beginning, we’ve had Pong Machines, 2600’s all sorts of cool retro stuff. Consoles, games, accessories and related merchandise. If its retro game related we’re into it. It gets better: we also run Video Game events for some more modern games along with a rotating schedule of vintage goodness (see below).
Toys
Alright, alright, we’re coming to the end before we starting talking about events and stuff. Lastly, we do toys with a focus on retro toys. Stuff like G.I. Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, He-Man, Strawberry Shortcake, you know, the good stuff. But don’t think that’s all we have, we’ve been known to get our hands on old Marx stuff, Cabbage Patch Kids, if it’s cool and retro, we’re into it. I know they are technically not toys but we do vintage trading cards too (not trading card games, which you know we already have) but like those awesome Marvel cards from the 90’s, the not so awesome DC cards from the 90's and even some Garbage Pail Kids from the 80’s.
Let's talk about Events for a minute here. We have two types of events: 1. Things that happen each week or month, the regular stuff. 2. Special Events, these are one time only spectaculars and will be listed out below the Regular Events. This little section here will be for our Regular Events. Book Club, Magic the Gathering, Board Games, Video Games etc.. Let's take a look:
